Now we are talking movies !!

Old horror..........The original Halloween, with a young Jaimie Curtis very dated by todays standards, but i remember watching this when i was young being scared out of my skin !

New horror.........now these fall into so many areas now, with slasher, gore etc...even thrillers now can make you jump or scare you. But, one stands out, Saw 1-4, .....they make you jump, cringe, gasp, and hide behind a pillow !!(so my wife says !!)

You can't go wrong with any George A. Romero flick - Night/Dawn/Day/Land/Diary of the Dead - all 1st class. thumbup.gif

Even the obscure ones are worth a look - Martin/Season of the Witch/Monkey Shines - bizarre!! eek.gif

Just wish modern horrors would'nt use so much CGI sad.gif

New - well relatively ...

The Audition (I think it's called) Japanese with subtitles and the most disturbing images I have seen that I still can't get out of my head.

Old - extremely ...

Nosferatu, of course.

I have always loved the Chucky collection. Watch the whole lot at one go and laugh your head off.

Best latest horror I have seen and I thought it was SAW 1-4, is Broken.

Hostel was OK

Halloween the original, can't beat it. Other old stuff that used to scare me as a kid, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday The 13ths, Phantasm and of course zombie flicks, Day of the Dead, Dawn etc.....

Out of the newer horrors i liked Saw but the sequels don't offer anything new for me its getting tedious, enjoyed The Hills Have Eyes remake, Devils Rejects is cool
